We are excited and eager this year because HUSH No More, Rediscover Me, Visions of Women, Restoration & Purpose for Women, and the She Did That Community Advocate Foundation are partnering during National Crime Victims Week 2022. Together we are hosting a major event to reduce crimes in our community and to provide resources that support Survivors and their families. The Stomp Out Crime Community Outreach, will be held on April 30, from 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM. This free event includes a step show featuring local youth, sororities, and fraternities, step teams, entertainment, community nonprofit organizations, counselors, various Police Departments, Government Agencies, community politicians and leaders, vendors, and a Survivors Tribute. All ages and demographics are welcome; however we are targeting youth and adults ages 18-24 and their parents. Our goal is to raise awareness, support Survivors and their families, as well as capture attention of adults ages 18-24, because they are at a higher risk of being victims of a crime. Due to COVID this is an outside event and masks are mandatory.
